Don’t want to make assumptions here but I’m pretty sure Charles Worth is rolling in his grave.

When asked to describe his Worth Woman: “She’s very feminine, she’s not afraid of clothes, she likes to be dressed up. I love basically to have women buy my clothes and be sexy.” explains Bedin.

The House of Worth has apparently been revived. Giovanni Bedin is the new head designer of the label. He obviously has no idea what he is talking about because that monstrosity is not something that looks like a Worth creation.

The first dress is what a Worth dress looks like. The second new Worth dress looks like something Lady Gaga has already worn.

I am perpetually in love with that first dress every-time I see it~

That second dress… I’m not sure how I feel about it XD

As promised, this is a preview of what is to come tomorrow. For some reason this reminds me of the Abbesses Métro station near Montmarte in Paris. Perhaps because the scroll work on the dress is so Art Noveau! I use to make my mom walk to that station just because I love Guimard!

Keep in mind this is not one piece of fabric! If you have ever tried to match patterns on fabric you’ll understand that the most beautiful part of this piece is not the dress but the pattern matching. I sat there for about ten minutes just clicking through the pictures in amazement. The lovely people at the Met have even given us a photo of the inside seam where the pattern is spot on. You can hardly tell when one stops and the other starts.
